WELCOME!

It is finally time! We have been working hard all summer to bring to you what we hope will become an annual event, A Midsummer Night’s Chat! This week, we will feature multi-author chats, blog posts from some of your favorite authors, and prize giveaways galore! Make sure you check back several times a day as we have a lot to shara!

We have divided the week up into Acts, giving each day it’s own theme. The schedule is as follows:

Monday, Act I – Setting the Stage. We are going to set the stage for the week with a welcome message and a list of all the participating authors and the prizes and events for the week!

Tuesday, Act II – Behind the Curtain. We will be releasing several author blogs for the day and featuring a chat at 5:30 pm PST. The chat will include discussions about the writing process and the world of publishing.

Wednesday, Act III – The YA World. More author blogs and another author chat will be the feature of today. The chat, which starts at 5:30 pm PST, will include discussion about the world in YA Literature. How does an author decide just how much to include and how much to leave to the imagination . . .

Thursday, Act IV – It’s All About the Girl, Strong Female Characters. At Eve’s Fan Garden, we celebrate all literature and written word but we especially love to see strong female characters. Today, we will be releasing many author posts that will be focusing on strong female characters.

Friday, Act V – Brave New Worlds. Our last chat will begin at 5:30 pm PST and will be all about creating the paranormal, mythical, and dystopian world has featured so prominently in so many YA novels.
