We would like to welcome Medeia Shariff to our Debut Author Initiation here on EFG. Medeia is the author of Best Ramadan Ever, to be released in July. We have asked each debut author 5 questions, and here are her answers.
EFG: Bacon or Cupcake? Cupcake.
MEDEIA: I’m a vegetarian and I have a major sweet tooth.
EFG: I Geek?
MEDEIA: I geek blogging. I love social media, period. My favorite part, and one I’m most comfortable with, is blogging.
EFG: Best or worst summer camp memory?
MEDEIA: I don’t have one. I’ve never been to camp. Did I miss out on anything?
EFG: What is your favorite word? why?
MEDEIA: Defenestration. It’s not something good, but I like saying it and how the word looks.
EFG: What is the first thing you did when you found out your book was going to be published?
MEDEIA: I continued to read my email in a haze of anxiety and excitement before calling the people closest to me to share the news.

Medeia’s first book, Best Ramadan Ever is scheduled for release in July by Flux.
