Donna
I have to say that stumbling into the “job” of Book of the Month was such a great thing for me. The book of the month club started out as direct book recommendations from Stephenie Meyer on Twilight Moms. It grew and blossomed from there.
As time went on, I started contacting authors who we were featuring and started building contacts with publishers. All of a sudden Book of the Month EXPLODED and far exceeded what I could do alone and the one book a month. (We would build out the calendar of books and I would be turning down 3-4 other book recommendations a month, minimum.)
So that brings me to today – I am immersed in books, ARCs, reviews, contests, author appearances, interviews, and publisher press releases. My “job” provides me with plenty of fodder to spark my fangirly-ness on an almost daily basis. Who wouldn’t love that!??!!?
Pretty amazing for a girl who didn’t know what an ARC was or what swag was! LOL
So, I want to take a minute to thank EVERYONE and ANYONE who has read our reviews, participated in our chats and discussions, entered our contests, or squeeeed with us at some point in the last two and a half years. Because when you get right down to it, without YOU, I wouldn’t be doing what I do and book club wouldn’t exist!

Never trust anything that can think for itself if you can’t see where it keeps its brain. ~J.K. Rowling,
I want you to listen to me very carefully, Harry. You’re not a bad person. You’re a very good person, who bad things have happened to. Besides, the world isn’t split into good people and Death Eaters. We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are. – JK Rowling (spoken by Sirius Black)

If I could have a sit down dinner with any author alive or dead who would it be?
Since I have already had the opportunity to sit down with Stephenie Meyer, I would have to say it is a tie between Stephen King, Dr. Seuss, or Suzanne Collins. I am fascinated by all three of these authors. There are so many more that I would totally go fangirl over, but these three… man… Can you imagine??!!
